Managing Trading Time and Trade Execution in PickMyTrade

The Settings section in PickMyTrade allows users to customize their trading preferences, including defining trading time windows and managing trade execution behavior. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to access and configure these settings.

Accessing the Settings Panel

  1. Login to your PickMyTrade account.
  2. Click on the Profile button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. In the dropdown menu, select Settings under the "Actions" section.
  4. The Settings page will open, allowing you to make the necessary configurations.

Trading Time Configuration

The "Trading Time" section enables users to define their preferred trading window in Eastern Standard Time (EST).

  1. From Time (EST): The time when trading becomes active.
  2. To Time (EST): The time when trading is disabled.
  3. Click "Save Time Changes" to apply your preferred time window.

Advanced Trading Settings

The Settings section provides additional options to refine trade execution:

  1. Stop Trading Before (Minutes): Set a buffer time before the end of the trading session to stop new trades.
  2. Start Trading After (Minutes): Set a delay after the beginning of the trading session before allowing trades.
  3. Closed Position and Open Order: Select whether positions should be closed before the market opens.

Once changes are made, click "Save Changes" to apply the settings.

Checking the Symbols List

In the Settings section, there is a "Click here" link that provides a list of trading symbols for different currencies. When clicked, the following symbols are displayed:

Pausing Trade Activity in PickMyTrade

If you need to temporarily stop trading activity without changing your trading settings, PickMyTrade offers a simple "Pause Trading" option. Here’s how to use it:

- Go to the PickMyTrade Dashboard:

  1. Log in to your PickMyTrade account.
  2. Navigate to the Home Dashboard.

- Access the Alert Log:

  1. On the dashboard, click on Alert Log to view all your active and past alerts.

- Pause Trading:

  1. In the Alerts section, find the Pause Trading button.
  2. Click on Pause Account to temporarily halt all trading activity. This ensures that no new trades will be executed until you resume the account.
